About Sayani

"Sayani Ghosh" is a household name today, being established herself as a "Charpy" actress amidst the Bengali Television & Film lovers. The Journey had started in 2008, with winning "THE BEST ACTOR AWARD" In Telegraph School Award & In 2009 She decided to pursue a carrier in what has been her passion all her life.

Her Acting debut was with a Telefilm "Aparajita" & her first appearance on the big screen was with film "Natobar Notout." After this she shared the screen with some veteran actors in Raj Chakraborty's "Shatru." Finally Sayani rose to fame by playing a carefree Journalist role in Raj Chakraborty's daily soap "proloy Asche" & then there was no looking back after that. Sayani has moved her ladder very fast & made her mark in Tolly.

She Receives appreciation all over too for the films in Kanamachi & Alik Sukh released in 2013. The Actress has also become a favourite with the music directors in Tollywood because of her chartbuster song "KOTHIN TOMAKE CHARA EKDIN" from Raj Chakraborty's "Bojhena Shey Bojhena."

The Character that she has done so far  underlines the present day women- Strong, Non-suppressible, Confident & Beautiful. She believes more women-centric themes should be made in tollywood and proved with her works that she has lots of potential to play more powerful roles.

She loves to play completely different roles in every films she is doing. that's y she says- "I want to prove myself as a versatile actor and don't want to get stuck into a stereotyped image. Also pulling off variety of roles gives an actress a lot of Confidence."
